The BYU-Hawaii home page is divided into sections to assist you in finding information with ease. In the left hand corner of each page is the BYU-Hawaii logo that links you to return to the home page.
Header
On the top of each page is a header that includes a picture and title of the page's content. There is also the navigation bar that includes the following sections:
- Search: This functionality utilizes Google™ to search and list all BYU-Hawaii Web pages on your topic.
- Current Students: This category has links for housing, employment, tuition, scholarships, student services and life on campus such as clubs, intramurals, calendars, and more.
- Future Students: This category links to information about applying to BYU-Hawii, frequently asked questions, general admission information, and the honor code. Other links include preparing for admissions, housing, and possible majors. There are also links to student life on campus and the surrounding community.
- Faculty/Staff: Here faculty and staff of BYU-Hawaii can link to university services, submit grades, review class schedules, and more.
- Alumni/Friends: This category links to BYU-Hawaii alumni pages with information on geographical chapters, board members, newsletters, campus visits, how to reach fellow classmates, and more.
Under the header on the right side of the page you will find three links that assist your navigation of the BYU-Hawaii website they include:
- Site Index: The index contains an alphabetical list of all major web pages in the BYU-Hawaii site. You can view the entire list or search alphabetically under respective letters.
- Feedback: This is your opportunity to share comments and suggestions about the BYU-Hawaii Web site. The comments you write may be directed to a specific department by selecting the appropriate category from the drop-down menu.
- Help: This is the page you are currently on, which explain the various sections and links of the BYU-Hawaii web site.
Left Navigation Area
On the left side under the header on every page is a navigation area that provides links to the following sections:
- About BYU-Hawaii: Connects to general information about the University such as its history, mission statement, the president and more.
- Academics: Lists links to the University?s academic divisions, institutes, programs, accreditation, and major course offerings.
- Athletics: Connects to all BYU-Hawaii online sports and team information.
- Directories: Links to current faculty, staff, and student rosters.
- Library: Connects to the Joseph F. Smith online library system, where you can search for books, magazines, do research, and more.
- University Services: Provides links to the most frequently used services the university provides. These links can also be found under Current Students and Faculty/Staff.
- Give to BYU-Hawaii: An external link to LDS Philanthropies where you can find information on various ways to contribute to the University and donate online.
- BYU-Hawaii Jubilee: Links to an extensive system of information on the University?s 50th anniversary Golden Jubilee, which is being celebrated throughout 2005.
- Polynesian Cultural Center: An external link to Hawaii?s top paid-admission attraction which works closely with the University to provide financial assistance and help educate and develop BYU-Hawaii students.
